Boy, I really hate this app! It keeps beating me so easily that I'm just about ready to give up my pathetic attempts of getting better at chess. So, my revenge is giving it just four stars instead of five.
Love it except when you close and reopen the app the thinking line displays the last opening information until you make a move, fix this 5 stars
This software is enough for those who love to hang around with chess engine, can easily beat, especially advanced student (above 2400 elo).

Strong Chess opponent
The ChessGenius chess-engine is one of several engines that can beat about any chess grandmaster. I believe it might have been CGv3 that beat Gary Casparov.
This is an excellent application and I had a little while to play with this and it has a ton of features for a very inexpensive app that are excellent and it's fun to play and overall I give it a good rating! Recommend!
Excellent
Plays a decent game with rather basic options but does show line of play and you can set clocks. Searches 700,000 positions a second which is pretty fast. Plays more humanlike then some others.
